Belgium and Canada played their second  match of the FIFA


World Cup Qatar 2022 in Doha on June 11th,


with a last-minute winner for Belgium.


The two countries will face off again in the third round of this


tournament before they return to the Belgian


and Canadian leagues respectively. 


Canada produced another strong performance, but with a little bad luck, they were unable to take anything home from their trip. The team was unlucky enough to be on the end of an unfortunate deflection that sent the ball into their net after 81 minutes of play. This goal from Jean-Paul Boetius was enough for them to top Group F and qualify for the knockout stages despite losing 1-0 against Belgium. It was a difficult game for both teams and we hope that they will get back up and make it as far as possible during the next round of competition. We would like to see both teams make it out of the group stage at
